By now most of you should know I was an anthropologist. When I left graduate school ABD (all but dissertation) many people expressed sympathy for not being done.
“They didn’t make me check my brains at the door when I left”
That part of my education has stood me in good stead in everything I have done since, to say NOTHING about these two wonderful bits of humor on we Americans.
